Saxophone Purse
A nearly life-sized saxophone shoulder bag with three small pockets, a zippered compartment and water bottle hydration system built in. This one-of-a-kind design is "soft-sculpted" of gold leather with appliqued keys and key bars. The water system adds rigidity to the saxophone's neck and you drink at the mouthpiece. Lined with gray packcloth. Size: 28" (height) X approx.12" (width) X 8" (depth).

"Piano Jazz"
A baby grand piano inspired the shape and piano/music collage of this handbag. Shown here in walnut brown leather with black trim and white and soft gold accents, the back side features a pocket that echos the piano motif. The recessed top zipper measures 14 inches. Lined with sturdy packcloth, the interior contains two large pockets plus three smaller ones for pens and small items.

The Beaded Bag Project
The beaded purse is a collaboration project with bead artist Araya Pathwalker
who has honed her skill with beads as long as I have been making leathergoods.
These one-of-a-kind pieces make at least five trips between our workshops before completion. They are truly wearable art.
Green "Vine"
Color: Dark green with burgundy applique, large teardrop Jasper and Carnelian stones. The purse is the classic Shield style, with three inner compartments secured by a small inner flap and a pocket under the outer flap.

Beaded "Turtle"
On a brown "Justa" style bag (see description in the Classics), this small shoulder bag has a very classy look. The beaded turtle uses an Agate for the body with the beads carrying the colors of the bands into the bezel. Apricot Aventurine and a sunstone tail pick up the colors in the Agate. Araya's detail even includes barnicles on the flippers and black Onyx eyes. There is a small pocket under the flap. A zippered pocket and a slip pocket give the inside some organization.

A large circle of Abalone shell surrounded by lavender pearls accented by three large pearls and turquoise leather applique make this a very special purple bag. A zippered pocket and a slip pocket organize the inside of this small shoulder bag.

"Celebration"
The use of metallic purple and a little metallic turquoise leather create a striking setting for one of Skybird's fused glass ornaments. Buttery soft black plonge leather is ruched and gathered to create a rhythm that demands attention. This large bag is designed to eliminate weight from the handbag by using thinner leather backed with sturdy pack cloth and using heavier leather only for the straps and their support pieces and the bottom of the bag. The stress on the bag is carried by the straps and concealed inner straps connecting to the bottom piece. The inside of the bag contains many pockets and is designed for organization. A pocket on the back gives easy access for cell phones. Size: 19" (length) X 12"( height) X 3 1/2" with strap "drop from top" of 8 1/2"

"Wintermelon" handbag
A One-of-a-kind interpretation of the watermelon bag, featuring a brown body with pearlized cream colored lamb sides and metallic bronze stylized "seeds" and band. One side has a large pocket and the other a small patch pocket for cell phone; a zippered pocket and a large slip pocket divide the inside.
